Day 1 – Rio de Janeiro City
An English speaking guide will pick you up at Rio de Janeiro airport and will take you to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to rest and get to know the local beach, bars and restaurants.
Day 2 – Rio de Janeiro City
After breakfast, your guide will collect you at your hotel and will take you on a tour to the most famous landmarks of the city, where you will be able to see this city’s natural beauty from above. After a scenic drive along Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, you will find yourself at the bottom of the Corcovado Hill. You will go on a train up the mountain towards the statue of Christ the Redeemer . The statue was recently voted one of the 7 “New Wonders of the World”. Enjoy the panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro and discover why it is called the “Marvelous City”. The tour continues to the Sugar Loaf Mountain, now one of the major symbols of Rio de Janeiro city. You will take two cable-cars: the first to Urca Hill. The second to the Sugar Loaf. The views are spectacular.
Day 3 – Rio de Janeiro City
On January 1st, 1502, a group of Portuguese explorers commanded by Gaspar de Lemos discovered Guanabara Bay. Being that it was the month of January and that the bay appeared to be a large river mouth, Gonçalves named the area Rio de Janeiro (River of January). Based on water volume, Guanabara Bay is the largest bay in the world, and holds several islands such as the Governor’s Island, Whirlpool and Snake Island. To the west, lies Rio de Janeiro, and to the east the municipal district of Niteroi. Guests will have the opportunity to see various landmarks such as the neighborhoods of Botafogo, Flamengo, and Urca, Sugar Loaf Mountain, Fort São Joao, Flagstone Island, Santa Cruz Fortress, Rio-Niteroi Bridge and more. Day 4 – Iguazu Falls
After breakfast, you will say goodbeye to Rio city and will be taken to the airport to catch your flight to Foz do Iguazu. A guide will pick you up at the airport and will take you to your hotel.
Day 5 – Iguazu Falls
Brazilian Side of the Falls After breakfast, we will drive through the beautiful green subtropical vegetation on our way to the falls. We will go on a walk down into the canyon, then take the glass lift with stunning panoramic views to the more than 240 falls from the upper deck. Duration: 3h. Park entrance tickets included Argetinian Side of the Falls We will cross the bridge and enjoy great views of the canyon on our way to the Iguazu National Park in Argentina. Visit the upper walkways which allow intimate contact with the falls and the rainforest. Visit the suspended platform at the very brink of the abysms of the largest of waterfalls, the Devil’s Throat. Day 6 – Buenos Aires
After your last breakfast with stunning views of the falls, your driver will take you to the airport to catch a flight to Buenos Aires. You will be awaited at your destination by a guide who will take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to get to local the local area.
Day 7 – Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires City Tour After breakfast, you will discover the many facets of Buenos Aires. We’ll start the excursion with a visit of the southern districts of La Boca with its multicolour tin houses, and the old neighbourhood of San Telmo with its narrow, cobbled-stone streets; its wonderful parks and gardens, monuments and magnificent mansions. Then, highlights will include the Main Square, Plaza de Mayo with its neo-classical Cathedral, colonial town-hall and the Presidential Palace, the “Casa Rosada”. Then the elegant Barrio Norte neighbourhood, the Recoleta Cemetery with its amazing mausoleums and statues, and Palermo with its wonderful parks and gardens, monuments and magnificent mansions. Tango Show at Esquina Carlos Gardel Because of its history, tradition, gastronomical service and artistic quality, Esquina Carlos Gardel is one of the best alternatives for a tango night. At first named Chanta Cuatro, there used to bea restaurant that opened its doors for the first time in 1893, at that time as a two storied restaurant and family hotel. Visitors were invited to play “bochas” (bocce) at the court attached to the restaurant. Today, more than 100 years later, as if by magic, this story comes back to life. Esquina Carlos Gardel, located exactly on the same spot where Chanta Cuatro used to be, offers an unmatched, unbeatable Tango theme restaurant.
Day 8 – Buenos Aires
Depart in the morning to El Tigre passing by San Isidro, an old quarter near the city of Buenos Aires, a residential area. After visiting San Isidro’s, the trip continues to El Tigre, is a beautiful town next to the river. Located on the banks of the Rio de la Plata (River Plate) is a characteristic residential and tourist area of the outskirts of Buenos Aires. Further north, you find the Parana Delta, Tigre Delta (called simply Tigre), a group of islands, natural reserve and wildlife. Rivers, channels, big trees, fruits and nice houses, boats, and wharfs are typical of the region. It is one of the few Deltas in the world that can be visited by travellers, and a popular weekend destination. Passing by San Fernando (the national capital of Nautical Sports) and San Isidro, national capital of Rugby, you arrive at the port of El Tigre for one hour boat tour along the Delta, passing by different islands with their beautiful houses facing the river. Day 9 – El Calafate
Today you will leave Buenos Aires and take a flight to El Calafate. You will be taken to Buenos Aires airport and picked up on the other side, where ypou will be driven to your hotel in El Calafate. The rest of the day is free o relax.
Day 10 – El Calafate
Depart to Perito Moreno Glacier. Across footbridges, you arrive at the observation site of one of Patagonia’s most impressive glaciers. The Perito Moreno slowly moves towards the front of the Magallanes Peninsula, where it forms a natural dam of ice which stops the flow of the water from the Rico arm to the Iceberg barrier. The water level goes up thus pressing and corroding the ice mass until it produces small leaks, which increase creating a tunnel through which water flows toward Lago Argentino. After lunch at Nativo´s Restaurant, take a one hour boat ride on the Argentinean Lake and enjoy some time at leisure near the glacier, before returning to the hotel.
Day 11 – Puerto Natales
After breakfast, you will be take to El Calafate airport to catch your flight to Puerto Natales. At your destination, a guide will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Please ensure that you have a valid visa to Chile. Torres del Paine National Park You will visit the Torres del Paine park and enjoy the principal points of the park. The park Torres del Paine is a wonderful area to observe local and native flora and fauna, where animals like condors, guanacos, ñandues and others may be seen and photographed. You will visit scenic lakes like Amarga, Nordenskjold, Pehoe, Toro and Grey. Visit of Otway Penguin Reserve Visit the Otway Penguin Reserve in the Strait of Magellan. (Important note: in recent years, fewer penguins have been coming to this region every year. Therefore, it is not possible to predict if a big or a small colony of penguins will arrive to the reserve this year and it is not guaranteed that passengers will be able to see penguins.)
Day 12 – Santiago
After breakfast, you will betaken to Puerto Natales airport, where you will catch a flight to Santiago do Chile. A guide will meet you in Santiago airport and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy this beautiful city.
Day 13 – Santiago
Today you will visit its historical center and the palace “La Moneda” current sit of the government. This palace is one of the top monuments of the civil architecture in South America. We will continue to the “Plaza de Armas” the heart of the city surrounded by the cathedral and the former congress center, and then to the metropolitan national park through Bellavista, the bohemia quarter of the city with its colorful houses. At this point we will go to the metropolitan parc and we will mount the “San Cristobal” hill which offers a panoramic sight over the city with the Cordillera mountains in back ground. We will continue our visit through the residential quarters and finish by a manufacturer of Lapis Lazulli.
Day 14 – Santiago
Depart from Santiago to visit Perez Cruz. The vineyards are situated in the beautiful Maipo Valley, 45 km. south – east of Santiago, surrounded by the foothills of the Andes Mountains Enjoy lunch in a typical restaurant, before you visit Concha y Toro vineyard. At the entry Portal, you are cordially greeted and invited to learn about and enjoy and wine tasting at one of Chile’s most traditional wineries, founded in 1883. Return to Santiago in the late afternoon.

Today you will have breakfast at your hotel and then will be taken to Santiago airport to catch your flight back home. We are certain that you had the best of times and hope to see you back soon.
